Neil Budd

With a wealth of expertise across areas such as energy, corporate/commercial and commercial property, Neil Budd is a seasoned veteran in the legal world. Qualifying as a solicitor in 1988, he worked in local government for seven years, specialising in commercial property and development projects. Joining the Moscow Office of an international law firm in 1995, Neil undertook a broad range of work including property, corporate and banking. Returning to London in 1999, he developed a practice as an energy lawyer, carrying out both conventional and renewable energy projects, in the UK and abroad. Establishing his own firm in 2018, Neil utilised his expertise to engage in energy projects, corporate commercial work and commercial property to great success.

Neil joined Raymond Legal in March 2025 as a Partner. Neil now uses his extensive experience to help Raymond Legal and its clients with matters of energy and property development as well as corporate and commercial work.
